Where are Quiet Ink Studio locations?
We have four Bali studios:
• Canggu

You can choose your preferred location when booking your consultation.
But if your plans change so can your location choice.
How much do fine line tattoos cost?
Our minimum tattoo price is:
- 700,000 IDR per person
- 3 minimum tattoos for 1.5 million IDR per person
Minimum size reference: approximately 3cm x 3cm.
Final pricing depends on size, detail, and placement.
We confirm everything clearly during your consultation before anything begins.
What happens during the free 15-minute consultation?
You meet your tattoo artist in person.
Together you:
- Refine your design
- Adjust size and detail
- Plan the best body placement
- Go over aftercare to protect your tattoo for the long term
It’s relaxed, collaborative, and designed to make sure you love it before it becomes permanent.
Do you specialise in fine line tattoos?
Yes.
Fine line work requires precision, depth control, spacing, and understanding how skin heals.
We’ve done over 17,000 tattoos and specialise in delicate, single-needle fine line designs.
What should I do before my tattoo appointment?
- Avoid alcohol 24 hours before
- Eat before your appointment
- Stay hydrated
- Avoid sunburn on the tattoo area
- Wear comfortable clothing

What is the healing process like?
Healing usually takes 2–4 weeks.
Days 1–3
Your tattoo may be red and slightly swollen. This is normal.
Keep it clean. Avoid soaps at first. Let it dry out.
Days 4–7
Light peeling or an “onion skin” layer may appear.
Use a small amount of Bepanthen or tattoo aftercare cream twice daily.
Do not scratch or pick.
Days 8–14
Flaking may occur.
Avoid direct sun, swimming, and saunas.
Keep the area hydrated.
Days 15–30
Top layers are mostly healed.
Continue gentle care if skin feels dry.
Healing varies by person and skin type.
Can I swim or go in the sun after getting tattooed?
Avoid swimming, saunas, and direct sun exposure during the healing period.
Bali sun is strong, and UV exposure can affect healing and fine lines.
This is why planning your tattoo later in your trip is recommended.
We actually recommend you always take care of your tattoo with special focus on sun protection from the moment you get your tattoo onwards. Not just during the healing process.
That way you can ensure it stays fine for years to come.
Can I bring my own design?
Yes.
You can bring inspiration images or ideas.
We will refine the design together to ensure it works well as a fine line tattoo and will hold up over time.
Do fine line tattoos fade or blur?
Fine line tattoos can blur if:
- Done too small with too much detail
We help you balance the amount of white space between lines so that your fine line tattoo ages with grace. The space between lines ensures any slight thickening after the healing process doesn’t affect the readability of your tattoo.
